Ahmic Lake Golf Club is a popular nine hole course set in beautiful cottage country just south of the town of Magnetawan. The club, a public course that opened in 1956, lies on land that was once an old farm beside the beautiful Ahmic Lake, which can be viewed from almost every hole. The fairways here tend to be open, but thick trees border the perimeter holes, so you won’t be able to spray all your shots. Challenge is provided by their many small greens, which require accurate approach shots, and a large water hazard that cuts through the middle of the course and enters play on four of its holes. The course measures 2484 yards from the longest tees, and features 2 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bent grass and the fairways are bermuda grass.
